Okay, it’s not the Emmy’s, and it’s probably the only excuse, besides the Kids Choice Awards, where celebrities are allowed to stomp around an award show in glittery overalls or flip-flops. Thanks to well-dressed stars like Blake Lively, Lauren Conrad, and the Jonas Brothers, the Teen Choice Awards didn’t suffer an all to ill-fated outfited debacle. So the election trail is in a bit of a lull, which means more time for mud flinging and name calling. McCain’s newest ad is the newest big highlight; the advertisement claims that Obama is nothing more than a celebrity like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. What a low shot. On his radio show last Monday the seriously humorous Ryan Seacrest revealed that he had a run in with a shark and was indeed bitten by it that past weekend. No serious injuries incurred but he did find a shark tooth later on. We’re glad nothing happened to our Ryan. Who else would host American Idol? We would hate to resort to old contestants.

Recently Omarosa appeared on Wendy William’s talk show as a guest and defenitely made a scene. Well, Wendy and Omarosa certainly got into it and some catty remarks where thrown around and said. Wendy claims that Omarosa intentionally brought in her attitude–perhaps the attitude is the game that Omarosa plays. It obviously won her attention on the “Apprentince” and she uses it as a vehicle towards celebrity to be known as the mean…well…you know. The twins are at it again with a new venture, or perhaps by returning to an old one. The Olsen twins have penned a new book called “Influence”, which depicts the lives and stories of those that have inspired them and others. The book is being published by Razorbill, a division of Penguin books and due to be out this fall. Good thing they surfaced the map with a project…we were beginning to forget about them….

So roughly a year ago Obama stated in an interview that Ludacris and Jay-Z where a few of his favorite rappers because they were good businessman. And surely, Ludacris mentioned it in his song. He also pointed out that he had some tunes positioned in the Democrat’s i-pod. Nice product placement Cris. Bet you Steve Job’s not made at you. Ludacris is known as rapper who knows how to spit his words in a straight line, but he’s also an opinionated young man who has issues with controversial topics. Prior to this episode, Ludacris fell out with Pepsi and Oprah Winfrey over the use of the n-word. But know things are crossing color lines again. Ludacris’s new song makes big stabs at the political scene, which is simmering this year, specifically at Hillary Clinton, John McCain, and George W Bush (although we don’t blame his accusation of the latter of the three). Although it does a lot to glorify the one and only Barack Obama.

It seems like the tale old story. To prevent yourself from being labeled a slut, whore, trash, garden tool and so on, a female must enrapture herself with a big white gown and get married. Looks like Jamie Lynn Spears is in no way trying to stear down the same path as big sis Britney (or is she?) and is actually planning on having a healthy family. Yes! She’s getting married to her baby daddy Casey Aldrige and has a new home in Liberty, Mississippi. She plans on eventually studying at Louisiana State University and never plans on hitting LA like her big sis. Smart girl from steering clear of the high-light and high-priced celebrity wedding bash; Jamie Lynn is only 30 miles from home and already down to pre-pregnancy weight. But still, not so smart for being barely grown and having a baby. Hopefully Nickelodeon will fire her; we wouldn’t want “Zoey” to negatively influence young girls. Read the rest of this entry »
