Before Coco Chanel there was Coco Chanel…in the making. Coco Avant Chanel takes a biopic look at the life of famed French designer Gabrielle Chanel, better known as “Coco”. Audrey Tautou plays Coco in the film, which will feature the designer’s dress. The film, directed and written by Anne and Camille Fontaine, is expected to be released in the US late this year or in 2010.

Yes, with umbrella in tow, Ms. Rhianna was out and about New York’s East Side visiting her favorite tattoo artist Bang Bang when the bad girl decided to be the woman in charge of the ink pen. Illegally.

While Kanye West was rockin his thang on stage, his on and off again girlfriend Amber Rose was staring hard off stage. Kanye performed at the official Lakers Championship Party alongside rapper Lil Wayne, while Amber Rose stood in her tight little red dress, eyes locked on the singer.

Mandy Moore has recently released her sixth studio album, Amanda Leigh. The title is taken from her true birthname. Moore’s new album features an eclectic and vintage-y style, one that is far from her original pop princess 90s hit “Candy”.
Usher Files for Divorce!

After only less than 2 years of marriage, R&B singer Usher has filed for divorce from his wife Tameka Foster Raymond. The 30 year-old artist filed a petition on Friday in the Superior Court of Atlanta.
The couple has two children together, Usher Raymond V, age 1 and 1/2, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, age 6 months. The couple was originally married in August 2007. His wife has three children from a previous marriage.
There is no word from Usher’s publicist on why he filed for divorce.
Slumdog Kids Leave Slum Behind

Filmmakers for Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire, finally came through on their publicized promise to get their star actor out of the slums on Monday.
10 year-old Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail and his family recieved a 250 sq-ft one-bedroom Mumbai apartment. This follows the government authorized bulldozer demolition of the costars, Ismail and 9 year-old Rubina Ali, slum huts that were said to be illegally built.
Director Danny Boyle and producer Christian Colson worked together to complete a deal that would appropriate $50,000 to purchase homes and additional funding for their education. Read the rest of this entry »

The newlyweds Spencer and Heidi Pratt were supposed to be taking some off time from filming. But after being cast for “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here”, a new reality survival show produced by NBC, the couple headed down to Costa Rica to shoot for the show. But apparently, the other names on the guest list didn’t seem all to appealing to Spencer, according to a phone conversation Yahoo’s OMG! said he reportedly had with NBC exec Ben Silverman:

Jennifer Hudson is oh so in love with her fiance David Otunga, a Harvard law grad who spent some time on season 2 of I Love New York–in fact she is expecting a baby. The Oscar-winning Dreamgirls star that first got her big break on American Idol, recently had a small, private baby shower in Chicago. There is no word yet on whether its a boy or a girl.
